Green 1924 North End of Machoquero Valley 3400 ft. Lower Calif, Mexico Nov. 15, 1924 964 Buffalo Control. 965 " Caught some as proceeding. 966 " 967 " Yesterday I saw 3 western blue birds, this is the only bird that we didn't see today. Mr Lamb will keep the list of birds as there is no sense in keeping to lists birds. However I will name the birds & see that he doesn't see. I set 20 mouse and rat traps south ward running a-but 200 yds. from camp. Also one steel set along an old smaller irrigation ditch. There are both raccoon tracks & coyote there. Last evening and this evening there was a noise outbreak of coyote yells. I judge a bout 10 different cells or teen different coyotes, I saw 7 California woodpeckers today just the other side of the border. There are many towkees, atmooses, gunners, blue jays, and chipping sparrows here. These are at least the most plentiful.
