El brought it in. 930 Maching bird ♀ ad. 92g shot in middle of mesquite thicket. 931 Perognathus spinatus ♀ 12.g 183-105-21-6 Caught outside cook tent. 932 Coyote ♀ 14 lbs. 1020-295-175-120 Caught in oasis by both feet. El hunted with Mr. Lamb down around the sand dunes in the mesquite association. Birds were very scarce and wild. I saw a flock of 2-but one hundred white crowned sparrows or gambler sparrows. I saw one mexican ground dove which Mr. Lamb shot. I saw one white winged dove which got away from me wounded. I shot two rhege sparrow which Mr. Lamb has made skins of.
