Green 1927 Los Palmas Canyon 200 West end of Laguna Salada 18 mi. S of N. Head Lower Calif., Mex. Nov. 4, 1927 50 mouse + rat traps caught 4 M+ 5 ? perognathus, 1 D + 1 F peromyscus. One steel set caught one female coyote. 920 Coyote F 17 1/2 pounds 1102-312-182-122 Caught in Oasis (Palms Canyon). 921 Perognathus B. ? 30 g 212-119-25-7 Dried against Caught in Cook tent, for bait. 922 Raven D 865.g shot out of a flock at 20. Shot over camp at 11 o'clock A.M. 923 Ammos Spermophilus D 101 g 215-54-37-6 Caught under Palm net soil. 924 Rana Caught in small pool 3 ft. in diameter in Palm sand water Hyla arenicolor 925 Rana Caught in small pool same as one before. There are three polly- wags or tadpoles in the same pool set in between rocks and covered by young fan Palms. Retrived all traps tonight. I saw several ammos spermophilus on the South side of the canyon of Palms this afternoon.
