November 17 Breakfast buffet in the hotel (I try for small portions, having learned via the scales at Mitchell's house that I've dropped 10-15 lbs. on this trip), then to British airways where a nice, efficient person in outrageous dreadlocks looked us over tonight's flight to SFO via London, but sends us to the nearby Pan Am office for their endorsement - no problem, and now we skip all those continental stops and LA, just a layover in London then on direct to SFO - we should actually get here 3 hrs. earlier than our earlier itinerary? Off to visit an Indian friend of Bob's, then shopping, lunch, more shopping, then a last shower at the Boulevard. We will dine here on pepper steaks and Kenyan papaya wine, then off to the airport.
