Heere, H. 1990 September 30 (continued) drizzle unit ≈1300h. This PM we checked ♀#5, ♂#3, and ♂#1 between ≈1300-1500h; #3 was exposed ≈2 in from yesterday's site, the other two as yesterday, and full details on separate data sheet. Air temp ≈14°C and overcast, tho by ≈2000h I could see some open sky. Barney Tonkovich told me there has been plenty of snakes on Botal road in late afternoons lately. TV weather reports indicate a big storm system moving up from the Sea/City. October 1 Rain began ≈0300 h and continued w/ short sporadic delays all morning. Louis Pope (USFS) told me that there's an inch of snow on top of Mt. Graham, and Eric Hayes remarked this rain
