Greene, H. 1989 July 12 (continued) found a Ninia sebae on a sidewalk in the lab clearing (8.3g, 255+91 mm). From ~2030-2130h we walked around the Cantasara swamp. Found a large Urotheca everza (437+306, 55g) "nosing" in leaf litter beneath palms a few (<20)m from the water edge. It thrashed wildly and repeatedly coiled its tail in tight loops on my hand. I found a Leptophis ahaetulla (800+530 mm, ?, 74g) asleep on leaves at the tip of a sapling ~5m above ground and within 10m of the swamp water edge. She regurgitated 3 Hyla elaechroa: 2.8g, 38mm, +f, ?; 1.8g, 36mm, +f, ?; 1.2g, 30mm, hf, ?, Then an Leptophis nebulosus (460+295 mm, 13.5g) asleep on a palm, stretched out w/ some loose curves. Squirmed, wrusked when seized; later gaped in bag. Regurgitated a Hyla elaechroa (29mm ?, 1.6g, hf). July 13 Rained during the night, and lightly during the morning. Someone (Rob & Ron) brought in a little Bothrops nasutus (216+21 mm, 9g) from leaf litter near the lab clearing. From 1330-1500 I walked around CCH & CCC - sunny - but saw only 1 Eleutherodactylus, at 1500h Ardell was shown an Leptophis depressirostris that had been found swallowing a frog on sidewalk in the lab clearing (607+371, 63g) - from which I palped an Eleutherodactylus (SV 29, 2.1g) that had been
