way out, ~2100 hr, we saw an adult “”shortode””
insornatus lying ~1.6 m above wet ground on the W.
edge of the swamp on palm leaves. A few minutes
later we saw a large adult leptodeira septentrionalis
crawling slowly at the same height in the same tree
as last night. On the way back couldn't see the
leptodeira, but checked the shortodes insornatus
( 690 +155 mm, 32 g) - gravid ? from which I
palped a freshly head-first ingested “”Hyla
eleuchera””, gravid ? (S-V 31 mm, head-width
11 mm, 2.4 g).
