When I moved leaves near her head, she jerked her head up and in my direction and froze - no tongue flicks, tail movements, etc. I slipped away, and returned at 0757 to find her quiet again. From at 1030-1300 hr walked the CCL and CCC with Carmen Rojas, at at 1330 I found the B. asper at her "resting" site, then walked to 500 m on CES and back, to 500m SOC and back, and checked the B. asper again at 1500hr. Walked in the Cantarana swamps from 2100-2130h and saw a few Hylla leguayi and one small golychmic colidryas, and photographed some spiders, including an arboreal tarantula.
