Greene, H. 1987 25 June (continued) as it crawled off trailsido into leaf litter. Only reaction to handling was to squirm. Walked to a fine waterfall x/1030h. Multiple cataracts over a broad vertical rock face, maybe 10m high, w/a pool at the bottom. We saw two juvenile Basiliscus basiliscus in vegetation and wet rocks, x2 m above the pool, and 2 juvenile Bufo haematitis on wet, mossy boulders at poolside. Morning was hot and sunny, by 1430 it is overcast. 26 June The routine here is up x5:45 for breakfast at 0600, than begin activities at 7AM. Today Pia and I and a park guard named Sigfredo lead 2 more groups for 2 hours each in one general area of waterfall.
