Deere, H. 1986 26 April (continued) it out (? possibly gravid, 785+67 mm, 440 g, notly palpable in stomach). At lunch others came back w/ a huge Sauromalus and an adult ? Salvadora hexalepis. John Carothers brought in a Crotalus mitchelli found resting under a boulder (?, 1000+72 mm, 991 g after meal palpated), from which I palpated a Syfrlagus that had been swallowed head-first. He also caught in a cholla a large Masticophis flagellum (1205+400 mm, 474 g after meal palpated) from which I palpated a Dipdorys that had been swallowed head-first. Pat Collett found a Hypsiglena torquata under a yucca log.
