28 July [continued]
Wondered if they were OK. We went to the Sidewalk Cafe for dining, and before hand checked the spot - can gone, lots of black crud on highway and broken glass. Road hunted from x 2045-0045 hr, mostly around Bisgah but we made one 10 mile trek down the road to Anboy. Saw a few rabbits and a few Dipidorys. Two Xantusia vigilis HHR = 2100hr. a few miles E of Newberg Springs, where Tamariash line the road. Only snake was a Phyllohyrchos decentalis, 1/1mi W of RR at 2320 hr - arrow, approx 30 cm TL, no food, released.
Full moon, clear sky, fairly warm.

Saw an adult Crotalus atrox between Gates Pass and the Desert Museum. Most of the time we were on the road to Silverbell and
