29 March Up early and left by jeep for San Jose w/
Donna Haupt (Life Reporter), Beth Braher, and
Helen Young. Stopped for pictures at a rubber
plantation and at El Salto Falls, and made
it into San Jose ~11AM. After levels and
checking w/ the National Parks office, rented a
tiny Toyota pickup and drove to Santa
Rosa National Park, arriving after dark. Ate
a huge, delicious steak at El Branadero
in Liberia. Put up hammock in the
dark, under a guaracaste tree.
