10 March The bird shook the leaf free as it swallowed the
(continued)
caterpillar, while perched on a limb ~3 m
above the ground (trail).
(NB: Forgot to note that last night on the edge of
Pajbaye Grove where the New Research Trail starts, I
found a Mastigodryas melanormus asleep
2m above ground on leaves - I only saw it
because of the bright orange belly - and earlier,
~300 (?)m out on the New Research Trail, I spotted
a Lepidophyma florivacuulatum - seemingly a
large adult - sitting in an opening ~1m up
on a large tree, w/in the upper boundaries of
the buttresses. After a minute or two w/ lights

a hole. It was present as before when we
returned by the tree later.)
Went out on New Research Trail from 2036-2230

Eleutherodactylus on leaves, and an adult ?
Andis capito on a palm leaf ~.5m above
ground beside the trail. Lepidophyma was not
visible in the hole I saw it in last night.
