It was an adult, coiled under a small (>1m high) palm in fairly open, primary forest. Snake not there and I couldn't find it. Walked back, then out CCL to CC and out the Swamper Trail to old Lachesis sight, but didn't see it. Got back ~14:45 and learned Debbie saw a big Lachesis ~1 hr earlier at CES 300m -she heard it
