1983 12 February building near the bridge. It crawled around (continued) s-coil, and struck once. Went out on bridge but couldn't see Caiman on the drift pile where it was yesterday. Rained at least 2 hours begining ≈ 1400h, and off and on in the evening. At ≈ 22/5h walked to CES 400 w/ Craig Guger, Doug Jervey, and Brian from Britain; light rain part of the time. Saw Electrophorus talarancas and E. diastema calling on leaves ≤1m above forest floor; an E. gymoreatus adult (SV≈75mm, photos) and several juveniles on the forest floor; and heard a Crested Owl several times. 13 February Photographed Dendrobates pumilio w/ tad on back, and Squirrel Cuckoo from balcony. Doug Jervey brought in a Norops humilis that weighed 0.95g and was found holding a big tabanid fly (?) weighing 0.14g. Arole measured 35+54mm, HW6mm. Orlando brought me a baby Leptodeira septentrioal that fell out of a shrub or low tree in the Arboretum; it has a bright white blotch on the head. At 2200 Maureen Donnelly saw a Felis onca on the sidewalk just east of the Sun bridge. 20 February Haven't written field notes for a while. On 14 February I found a small adult Leptodeira septentrioalis stretched out on a large fern,
