Greene, H. 1982 15 May (continued) hammordi (x 2055 h). Found 4 live Crotalus viridis, 2 live Pituophis melandruces, and 1 live Arizona elegans - all catalogued. Also saw 2 Pituophis and 6 Crotalus too smashed to save, all no larger than those we collected. Were somewhat harassed by a policeman from Site 300. 11 June Conal Hollow Rd, San Joaquin Co., California Trip to Castle Rock w/ Zoology 107 class, cool & windy. Just as darkness fell some students saw a Lampropeltis getulus crawling along the base of the bluff. My car saw no snakes, a few toads (Bufo boreas and Scaphiopus hammordi), and a badger, Taxidea taxus, on the road. 20 June Left Berkeley approx 1530 h w/ Kristine Tollestrup and drove to Dee Vining for the night. Stopped to turn logs at a likely looking spot in the Sierra, but nothing. 21 June
