Ellene, H. 1979 23 March Pt Pinole Regional Park, Contra Costa Co., California 1330 - 1530 hr, w/ Dona & the dog, we walked to the point pier at (each. Saw hites, kestrels, red tail etc. 1 adult G. multicarinatus under a half-buried 2x4 in grass on the ridge (E side of crest) leading to the big Eucalyptus grove, at least 50' from nearest trees. The lizard was under the buried end. Also saw 2 ad & S. occidentalis on cut stumps & 1 subadult on a snag 24 March 1330 - 1420, in trash across from park entrance w/ dog. Found 1 Batrachoseps, 3 coluber, & 8 Pituophis. It was warm & sunny (more so yesterday). Found them as follows: 1 Batrachoseps under a board 2 juv. Bufo boreas under trash 3 ad Pituophis & 1 Bufo under a piece of corrugated roofing (?) 2 ad Coluber & 1ad Pituophis under a piece of corrugated roofing 1 ad coluber & 1ad Pituophis under a piece of wood 1ad Pituophis under each of 2 pieces of wood
