Greene, H. 1979 4 March (cont.) Jct. DeFry & Sandia Canyon Rds., 1.2 mi N Fallbrook, 440ft, San Diego Co. We stop here for lunch, then Dave, KPY & JC work low in the oaks. I go up the slope (trail through chaparral); find much fresh trash, see Sceloporus, but catch only a Bufo boreas under rock insun. Dave got copulating pair of Genhorotis under cardboard at edge of intersection! They also got 3 B. major. Jct. E. Vista Rd. & Rt 76, 4 mi N. Vista, San Diego Co, California I find 1 Eunectes under cardboard on bare road shoulder, next to pasture. Agua Hedionda at NE jct. S-11 & S-12, E of Carlsbad, San Diego Co. Canyon surround by chaparral & some prickly pear. Trash. I get 2 juv Genhorotis, Dave gets [illegible] & misses a big one, also 2 B. major (1 found under discarded appliances).
