Greene, H. 1981 30 May (below lower Maisich Jagoon, I. couchi (continued) in lower Maisich Jagoon, coluber constrictor on bank by little Sindicish Jagoon, and Clemmys marmorata basking on log in Big Sindicich Jagoon near shore. 3 June Coral Hollow area, Alameda/San Joaquin Counties California Left Berkeley for here approx 1630, spent some time watching birds on Mines Rd. then started down Tesla/Coral Hollow Rd. Before dark (still sunny approx 1900) found a approx 4' Lituophis crawling across pavement - extremely aggressive, hissing, striking, tail vibrating. Around Castle Rock we saw owls, Anthozous, and horned larks. After dark road-hunted from the Pass to I-5 twice, and found numerous Scaphiopus hammondi, 1 large Janpropeltis getulus crawling across the road, and a Lyncx rufus that walked quickly across in front of us. 8 June Mallory Ranch, Morgan Territory Rd, Contra Costa Co, California arrived here approx 1000 hr w/ Cindy Mayer, Frank Hall, and 3 other Cal Fish & Game biologists and toured the ranch by truck
