1 December
(continued)
Had lunch at El Golfo Restaurant overlooking
Pacific - cheap food, old nostalgic music.
Tooth map, pickled lizards, went to Negritos
to talk w/ John Bowling, drove a few km
past Negritos (S.) and took pictures. Then
back to the Quebrada by El Golfo (between
Talana & Negritos) and looked among
Dunes (large plants - look so similar to
Coachella Valley) for lizards but saw
none. However, by 1630-1700 here it is chilly
and windy. Went by Julius Boro house
(not home), took photos of Talana from
above town and went back to Hotel for
showers prior to supper with the Bowlings
at the club. Nothing seen on road between Negritos
and Talana either way.

(the Belo American School) at 0730 to take
24 students (4th - 8th grades) in the field
