We returned again at 1145 after walking a fence row (saw nothing) but no sign of the Callopistes. Returned to Chiclayo after gas (5.1200) in Motupe. Motupe<br>Chiclayo NB: Mark saw lots of droppings around the summit which we speculated were fox - but could they have been goat? Returned to Chiclayo. Road hurtled almost to Motupe just after dark but saw nothing but trucks. Tried to contact Señor del Solar again - he's still in Lima.
