Heene, H. 1980 19 November we stopped a moment at a small village, (continued) and I photographed a full moon in a deep, royal blue sky, shining down from a bridge on a field bounded by a pretty adobe cotta fence. Very beautiful. Arrived back in Cusco 21:30 tired. Forgot to mention that as we boarded the train in Cusco I ran into John Behler, Curator of Herpetology at the Bronx Zoo, who was leading a tour. On way back, Norma McCaw, a British woman we took up with, convinced an old American couple she didn't like sitting w/ to switch seats w/ us, and we thereby avoided another 4 hours w/ Smokey Samora and his sweetie. Supper in Cusco at La Roma not especially good. 20 November Got up at 0530 for trip to airport for early flight, but arrived to find all flights holding. One Aero Peru did leave 10, but at 12:30 the Faucett Air flights were cancelled - back to the hotel level, and a nap. Later took in the Indian market: hundreds of stalls, women cooking and nursing children still seated on the cobblesions,
