2 May 9497.4 - saw large Sceloporus magister and
(cont.) missed a juvenile, just as sun went over the
ridge. They were on roadside boulders.
9497.55 - turn left (w) on sandy road from Snow
Creek Rd.
9497.8 - back out, turn N. m Snow Creek Rd.
9498.6 - searched dunes & wash to N. of road.
Many ?? snake tracks, no lizard sign.

3 May Walked around big dunes NW of jet. of 38th
st & Washington st., Jeff Kaufmann's old Uma
inornota study area. Saw lots of lizard &
sidewinder tracks, but no animals.. When we
started at 0730 it was cold windy, but by 0840 it
was getting hot. Very sunny.
