2 May 9399.8 - 0843 h - at fork w/ big trees on dirt road off Posley Rd. Sunny , starting to warm.
9400.4 - 0901 h - turnaround. Saw 2 Urra , a ground squirrel, and lots of ants.
9400.6 - very fresh Phrynosoma found.
9400.7 - /1025 h - back at our flagged site where there were several finds yesterday, but no horned lizards in almost 90 minutes. Several roundtailed ground squirrels and several Urosaurus . Noosed three of the latter ; a ♀ on an Atriplex , a ♂ w/ orange throat on a large Jarea , and a ♂ w/out an orange throat on an unidentified shrub. All were in sun, flat on limbs when seen,
9401.1 - just past grove of big trees on way to Posley Rd. Photographed a Gambelia , which ran in a burrow containing baby ground squirrel
9401.3 - Posley Rd., turnaround for one last try.
9401.8 - a few meters N. of the flagged Phrynosoma area, an ad. Gambelia w/ regenerated tail. Also, seeing numerous Diposadums and Urra now.
9402.1 - turnaround. See following page for addendum.
9411.9 - DOR P. platyurus or Salton Seaway in Anza Borago Desert State Park. By a wash w/ oztillo and creosote, rocks of rochos.
9417.3 - Imperial Co. line.
