Greene, H. 1980 19 April (cont.) Dicamptodon ensatus - 1 small adult under a railroad tie. Several larvae in stream. Hyba vizella - 1 large bright green adult beside stream. Sceloporus occidentalis - several on ties in sunny areas. Eumeces shilstonianus - 2 under cover (1 was under a small piece of thin, rusty tin in sun). Diadophis punctatus - 1 dead, rotter adult partly exposed and partly under a tie. 1 live adult, (greenish & light orange) under a small board. Batrachoseps attenuatus - several under cover. Rana boylei - 1 juvenile beside stream. Gehonitus coeruleus - 1 seen by John Caddle escaped. 6.1 mi E. of Flynn Creek Rd. on One Springs Rd., Mendocino Co., California Dirt road along steep, heavily forested ridge. We stopped at a construction area w/ many boards, logs, etc. Worked for about 1 1/2 hours, with good luck from the start. Cool and sunny.
