Twenty eight traps caught:

Caught beneath bush on slight rise.
Sandy soil association.
18. Petrogenathus ? 13.6 G., 160-89-23-6.
Caught on sandy mesa near brush.
Pouches contained brush and grass seeds.
19. Shrike ?. 42.1 G.
Killed while sitting on Copel tree.
20. Kangaroo Rat (same as Lamb's no. 5615.
21. Wood Rat (Neotoma) " " " " 5613
22. Sage Thrasher ? 48.1 G. Killed
while sitting on creosote brush in
open desert.
Stayed in camp today due to a
bad cold. Prepared a few specimens,
[illegible] up. While running the
traps in the afternoon caught two
short tailed ground squirrels. Heard
a few meekers around camp and
watched a pair of fish hawks
near by for a little while.
