Gilmore 1936 Vallecitos, 7500 ft. San Pedro Martir Mts. Lower Calif., Mexico. June 17. [day] but the Guanacephalus c. are plenty in other [illegible]. The large flocks that were seen constantly last year are now rarely encountered. I have come upon two flocks up to date. The Calif. Condors are also keeping to themselves, perhaps upon some inaccessible part of Cuyamaca Diablo or La Providencia for not a single one has been seen. The mole I have been trying to catch has successfully resisted all [illegible] by the Remsle method I refusing to go into the jaws of the trap but is content to poke a little dirt over it.
