Gilmore 1926 Vallecitos, 7500 ft. San Pedro Martir into. Lower Calif. Mexico. June 15. To catch and there are numerous workings in the vicinity. A Peromyscus was caught in a place that seemed good for Peromyscus; namely, under the same willow roots & drift needles at the very edge of the water. Hend a Loxia curvirostra -- ? -- fly past the camp in the early morning as we were eating breakfast. It was the first one seen/heard here. No other new birds or mammals.
