Vallecitos, 7500 ft. San Pedro Martir into.
Lower Calif. Mexico.
June 15.
To catch and there are numerous
workings in the vicinity. A Peromyscus
was caught in a place that seemed
good for Peromyscus; namely, under
the same willow roots & drift needles
at the very edge of the water.
Hend a Loxia curvirostra -- ? -- fly
past the camp in the early morning
as we were eating breakfast. It was
the first one seen/heard here.
No other new birds or mammals.
