In the scattered forest I came I saw some Calespes capelcollares, numerous Buphcephalus c!, numerous jones Siyemalia Townsendi and some Stinus fimus p. Deer signs were plentiful on the side of the wooded ridge but I did not see any. The birds are very much more scarce in the evening than in the morning & one rarely sees very many birds Tachyometa thasulnia lepida excepted, while out on the field.
