Vallecitos, 7500 Ft. San Pedro Martin Mts. Lower Calif., Mex. June 11. Dendroica audoboni a. and some Panthestes gambeli g. On the side of the ridge I saw numerous Sialia mexicana anabelae one Creotax pictus confinis, a few Dryobates villosus tyloscopus, Some more P. gambeli g. And some Litta pygmaea leucomela. In the scattered forest I came I saw some Calespes capelcollares, numerous Buphcephalus c!, numerous jones Siyemalia Townsendi and some Stinus fimus p. Deer signs were plentiful on the side of the wooded ridge but I did not see any. The birds are very much more scarce in the evening than in the morning & one rarely sees very many birds Tachyometa thasulnia lepida excepted, while out on the field.
