Left Calexico at at 1:30 P.M. and
Got in El Mayor at 6:00 P.M. Pitched
camp about a mile south of the
pumpstation near an old well with
good water. Many mosquitoes and
flies. Weather promises to be very
hot. Numerous night hawks and
bats made their appearance in the
early and evening.
