Actitis macularia which flitted from
rock to rock at the waters edge but
did not allow close approach. When
they deemed that they had gone far
far enough they flew back again,
describing a large arc over the
water. The Ardea virescens anthonyi
was found sitting among the rocks
at the very end of the promontory.
Blue Colymbus nigricollis californicus(?)
was seen off shore diving for fish
