May 8. McMillan Ranch, San Luis Obispo County. 0615 Weather overcast. Broken ST and SC, higher clouds through breaks. 0845 Drive with Jnr McMillan to Homestead on Devil's Den, Kern County, to replenish water for quail and collect specimens. Returned
