Started using Purina "Pigeon Grains" for feed in pen, also a small quantity of mineralized pigeon grits. 0710 discontinued observations 0825 Resumed observations in pen. after half an hour entered pen to cut weeds until 0950. Ended observation 1027. Weather now 6/10 CU with some CU congestus, light wind. Sunrise 0521 PST. April 28. Strawberry Canyon, Alameda Co. 1910 Weather clear, very light wind, sunlight gone from the pen in Behavior Lab, left still on tops of surrounding trees. Sunset 1957 PDT. April 29. Strawberry Canyon, Alameda Co. 1845 At Behavior lab pen, weather clear, moderate to light wind. Sunshine on top of pen only, ground in shadow. 1908 Sunshine has left all parts of the pen, tops of surrounding trees still in sun. Wind has become very light. 1950. Ended observations.
