Ground still very wet from past showers. April 18, 1963. Strawberry Canyon, Alameda Co. 0823 at Behavior lab Pen for instrument work. April 19, 1963. Strawberry Canyon Alameda Co. Rain most of last night, clearing this morning with bright sunshine. 0730 to 0800, shower from 0830 to 0845- followed by intermittent sun. No wind, ground very wet. Checked trap at 0845, no birds, no bait eaten around it. Worked on clearing excessive growth in Behavior lab pen, and left at 0945. April 21, 1963. Strawberry Canyon Alameda County. At pen in Behavior lab 1730 to 1755. Weather locally broken to overcast with CU clouds over hills, moderate NW wind without turbulence.
