Saw group of over 40 cinnamon Teal in San Juan Creek, near bridge in Shandon, San Luis Obispo County. Males were in great numbers and displaying aggression. 1528 Arrived McMillan Ranch, San Luis Obispo County. (mi. 36627). 1645 to 1735 I tramped around the corey area near Marin Springs - Weather overcast AS with sctd to broken low dark clouds, wind rather strong, with occasional strong gusts of turbulence. March 28. McMillan Ranch, San Luis Obispo County. Rain during the night, cool and windy in the morning at 0530, with low stratus overcast obscuring tops of hills adjacent to the ranch house. Observed quail leaving roost until 0555. Then along road to old house until 0700 when sun began to break. High. Bright and sunny with sctd. cu by 0830. 0900. Started out my pick-up along the Camatti, observing quail along road. 1005. at eagle nest, arrived just as me
