" about six inches of snow this AM (Mar.17) up at Cahooris in Pass between Carmel Valley and Arroyo Seco. 6+ quail were seen at 11 a.m. in small field between Davis house and creek. "20 March. Cal. quail heard calling near water tanks at 3 P.M. "21 March. 2 P.M. heard, & then saw 12+ quail above trail and below weather station. "22 March. Showers began at noon. "23 March. Raining at 9 A.M.
