April 4, 1963 FR-118. Strawberry Canyon, Alameda Co. Prolific spreading herb, branched on single stems in dense cluster. Flowers orange-red in apils of opposite leaves. Same location as FR-115. Anagallis arvensis L. Poor-man's Weatherglass (Pimpernel) FR-119. Vine-like herb, with com- pound leaves terminating in tendrils. Branched at base of and below ground with single tap root. Flowers purple with light centers to papilionaceous petals. Same location as FR-115. Vicia sativa L. Common vetch.
