FR-113. Spreading woody shrub, much branched from base 3 1/2 feet tall; stems very brittle - apparently dead, but with fresh leafy stems growing from them. No flowers, but with Salvia like seed pods on a few stems. Growing on east facing slope of Patagonica Canyon here co-dominant with sagebrush. Many limbs of these clumps are quite dead.
