FR-105. March 26, Hastings Reservation,
Monterey County.
Herb with very short semi-erect
basal leaves, much taller flower stems
with single terminal flower yellow
and white. Occurring in numbers
on same hillside as preceding,
but restricted to a small area
about 30' diameter.
FR-106. March 27, Hastings Reservation,
Monterey County.
Erect & well shaped, rather open, shrub,
12 feet tall, on chaparral slope, assoc-
iated with live oak and chamise.
Stems & twigs stiff. Leaves dark
green on top, lighter below rather
leathery. Pedicels pale lavender,
flowers white with lavender tinge.
Ceanothus cuneatus
(Possibly a hybrid form, according
to J. Davis).
