W.J. Francis 1964 71. Journal Dec.24. Strawberry Canyon Alameda Co. visibility 50 yards. Serviced rain gauge, 4.00" total 12.30". Scattered a can of grain in the pen, mostly in A-2. Additional new growth noted appears to be Geraniums in A-4 to A-8, and a large patch of hemlock in E-10 and nearby areas. Dec.27. 1235 at Behavin Lab. pen, serviced rain gauge (1.56", total 13.86"). Weather: Variable Cloudiness, average 7/10 CB and CU, showers throughout the area. Fresh southerly wind with moderate turbulence; excellent visibility. Scattered one can of grain in A-1 and A-2. Dec.28. 1000 at Behavin Lab. pen, with new sack of 25# Purina Hen Chow. Ser- viced instruments, rain gauge 0.37" total 14.23". Weather cloudy, variable cu and towering cu, ave. about 9/10 at the station. (Rain and hail last night). Moderate southerly winds with slight turbulence. Scattered are full can of grain in the pen.
