Strawberry Canyon, Alameda County 0845 At Behavior Lab. pen, weather: station obscured in SF with trace 300 feet below station, visibility 100 yards, calm, no appreciable fog drip but vegetation damp with dew. Serviced instruments, rain gauge 0.12", total 5.97". Scattered one can of grain in A-2 and center clearing. Dec. 1. 0815 Serviced rain gauge in Behavior Lab. pen, 0.19" total 6.16". Scattered a full can of grain. Prebaited with another can of grain in Baccharis patch across the highway. Dec. 7. 0805. At Behavior Lab. pen weather overcast AS with occl breaks, from N'ly wind with moderate turb- lulence. Serviced instruments, rain gauge 0.13", total 6.29". Scattered one can of grain in A-1 to A-3 only. Dec. 7 1500. Set two grain traps, #1, 2'x4', in brush across the dirt road below the Behavior Lab. fence; #2, 3'x5', across Grizzly Peak Blvd in Baccharis brush adjacent to Eucalyptus grove.
