Inspected forbaited area across Grizzly Peak Blvd. Most grain con- sumed, sparrows in the vicinity, no definite quail sign. Nov. 23. 0830 Weather at Behavior Lab. per fair, 4/10 very thin cl, thick layer of surface fog over the bay, calm & good visibility at station. Serviced instruments, scattered one can of grain. Ground very wet with heavy dew. Rain gauge 0.01" of fog drip, total 5.79". Nov. 25. 0910 Weather at Behavior Lab. per- Thick str layer from low levels to above the station obscuring sky. Visibility 100 yards; calm. Ground, vegetation, and structures very wet from past rain and fog drip. Serviced rain gauge, 0.06", total 5.85". Plenty of grain still present where scattered on Monday. all quail (11) present.
