Water hole dry. Filled water- hole. Shifted feed to Purina New Chow (rice click-chow, finer) and scattered one can. Installed Friez hygrothermograph. Sept. 4 1330 at Behavior Lab. pen, weather clear, quite warm, light winds. Cut tops of eucalyptus scubs where they were growing through the top of the pen. Filled water hole and scattered one can of grain Sept. 7. 0945 at Behavior Lab. pen, weather overcast SC, est. 3000', moderate southerly wind, slight turbulence. A little water remaining in the water hole. 1000 serviced Friez hygro- themograph. Filled water hole and scattered one full can of grain. Sept. 11. 0905 at Behavior Lab. pen, weather - sky obscured in SE over the hills, haze indistinct. Very light winds, visibility 1/2 mile.
