March 22, Strawberry Canyon, Alameda Co. next in areas: A-6 to E-6, 1425 clouds breaking & visibility improved, moderate wind gusts, Cu and Cbk clouds with few breaks. Left station at 1505 after short observation period with no activity of birds in the pen. March 23. 0830 Weather at Behavior Lab. overcast Sc and Cb at est. 4000', few breaks over the coast; good visibility, very light wind. Serviced traps (3 Microtus, 1 Sorex) and next in the same area. Ground & vegetation still very wet from previous precipitation. March 24. 0845 Weather at Behavior Lab. partly cloudy, 6/10 Cu (variable), light to moderate wind with slight turbulence. Serviced rain gage (0.05") and traps, and reset traps in A7-E7. Big yellow cat escaped from trap when door released as I was stuffing the cracks. March 25. 1700 Weather at Behavior Lab. clear, light wind, no turbulence. Serviced mouse traps (6 Microtus), and left un- spring traps in place. 1712 Began
