W.J. Francis 1964 26. Journal March 21. Strawberry Canyon, Alameda County . 1035 at Behavin Lab. pen, serviced mouse traps (13 mice, only 3 Microtus) and reset in A-5 to E-5. Reset box trap for cats outside the pen. Weather: variable sky cover averaging 8/10 Cu and Cu N6, with showers all around the area, brief shower ended locally shortly before I arrived at the pen, only few scattered drops until leaving at 1155. 1805. Commenced observations in the Behavin Lab. pen. Weather clearly with 9/10 Cu and SC, light wind with slight turbulence; sun on tops of surrounding trees briefly, all in shadow at 1211. March 22. 1405. at Behavin Lab. pen, Weather: obscured in clouds with base about 200' below station visibility 150 yards, light wind with no turbulence, Moderate to heavy rain from early morning until about 1330, with numerous showers still in the area.
