Set & baited 3'x 5' trap for quail, using "Hen Chow" in place of finer "Click Chow" more recently used. 1600. Checked trap - no quail. Feb. 14. Strawberry Canyon, Alameda County. 0915 Weather at Behavior Lab. Clear, light wind, no turbulence, exceptional visibility. No quail in the trap in the pen. Reset mouse traps. Feb. 15. Strawberry Canyon, Alameda County 1400. Weather at Behavior Lab. Free Clear (after 0.19" rain last night) Light to moderate wind, moderate turbulence, excellent visibility. Serviced rain gauge & mouse traps - baited with mixture of grease & grain.
