W.J. Francis 1963 12 Journal Feb. 3 Strawberry Canyon, Alameda County gain and set two mouse traps inside the closed + unset wire trap inside the Behavior lab. pen. Left station at 0900. Feb. 6. Strawberry Canyon, Alameda County 0920 Weather clear, fresh northerly winds with moderate turbulence, exceptional visibility. Reset mouse traps in Behavior lab. pen, one Microwave taken. Scattered two cans of feed for quail. Feb. 10 Strawberry Canyon Alameda County. 0900 Weather at Behavior Lab. clear, light wind with slight turbulence. Visibility reduced by haze over the bay, locally unrestricted. Ground + vegetation quite dry, but plants generally still quite green with no wilting. Serviced weather instruments; reset mouse traps. Set up & baited the 3x5- trap in the pen (area D-4).
