Weather: within stratus clouds covering tops of Berkeley hills, visibility 100 yards, very light freeze, generally westerly; cool, estimated 55°. Active fog drip especially from Eucalyptus, ground quite wet. Examined area of pre-baiting - grain largely consumed with bird dropping cell cleared, no tracks. No quail seen a head in the vicinity.
