Strawberry Canyon, Alameda County 0910 Serviced traps; #2 with the overlap covering was empty, with grain all around the outside completely eaten, that inside untouched. Left both traps set and un- covered. Installed screw hooks in the observation hut of the pen to suspend grain out of reach of mice - I hope! Left the station at 10:15. Weather thick #610 Serviced overcast ST and SC light wind, slight turbulence. 1610 Serviced traps. Light drizzle just beginning from solid ST overcast, becoming heavy drizzle as I left the station. Jan. 17. Strawberry Canyon Alameda Co. 0835 Weather at Animal Behavior lab: Obscured in low ST covering the station with base about 200 feet below the station. Calmer, visibility 150 yards.
