Left for McMillan ranch in San Luis Obispo County at 0900, arriving at 1200, to join in picnic- quail hunt with a large party in - cluding Don, Jan, & Bub McMillan, C.T. Birdeman Jim Lugalls (sp?), the Fluggs, a Mr. Thompson and several wives with a sumptuous spread of food. After an hour or so shooting after lunch had coffee & conversation at Dan's ranch house and left for Hastings again at 1645, Arrived about 1945 (mileage 99538). Checked traps (no' quail) and rebaited.
